Buddha once said, "Holding onto resentment and hatred is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die." Do you know the feeling of anger, that unpleasant sensation within you? Are you aware that you are the one feeling this emotion and not the other person?
As a human, you possess incredible abilities. You are a creative being with the capacity to achieve greatness. However, most people are not aware of this. There are certain prerequisites for fully utilizing the potential of your creative power. One of these prerequisites is to be as free from resentment as possible.
Judgment is a process where you recognize something in another person that you can find in yourself in one way or another. Once you recognize something in another person that you actually reject, you react with judgment.
In many coaching sessions, I have repeatedly confirmed this theory. We constantly project onto our fellow human beings, constantly reflecting ourselves in them. It takes a lot of courage to allow this thought. But once you understand it, you realize that every time you judge someone else, you are actually judging yourself.
Once you've swallowed this bitter pill, it's about forgiving yourself for what you have recognized within you. Judging yourself will never get you anywhere. Whenever you learn something about yourself, you can use it to change. By shedding light on your shadows, you free yourself from everything that prevents you from stepping into your potential. This so-called shadow work is an important part of my coaching. If you would like to learn more about transformation and shadow work, you can do so on my website.
Be the best you can be,
